ABOUT US

ARTHUR GRILLO GMBH has been one of the leading manufacturers of control and measurement technology for building automation worldwide for decades. Our products are specially developed for industrial purposes and are therefore robust, easy to use and extremely precise. They measure and control a wide variety of climatic conditions (pressure, temperature, humidity, flow rate) in a wide variety of industrial fields of use.

Due to our many years of experience, we are experts in low-pressure measurement. Thanks to this expertise, our electromechanical sensors are able to record the smallest movements of air or gases and convert them into electrical signals. We measure the existing medium, control connected fans and control the smallest as well as large air flows in ventilation systems worldwide. We have designed a comprehensive range of sensors, transmitters and controllers precisely for this purpose.

For the areas of industrial temperature and humidity measurement, we offer efficient sensors for individual units of measurement or combined devices for complex analysis and control functions. To round off our portfolio, we manufacture complete systems for flow measurement on customer request. Thanks to our own development, production and sales, we are able to respond to customer-specific special solutions and can meet all needs, from individual pieces to large series. For us, "Made in Germany" does not only mean a development in Germany. All individual parts, as well as the finished end product, are completely manufactured in Germany and meet our high quality standards. Our comprehensive commitment to "Made in Germany" makes us a reliable partner in building automation.

HISTORY (1901 - 2022)

1901    Arthur Grillo, nephew of the industrialist Wilhelm Grillo, founds a trading company for auxiliary products for heavy industry

1936    Egon Grillo, the son, starts selling measuring and control technology devices, including volume and level gauges, gas density

recorders, and pneumatic and oil-controlled regulators

1946    Egon Grillo opens a repair shop for measuring devices and controllers with Arthur Grillo KG in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel

1951    Arthur Grillo KG begins manufacturing ring balances for measuring small differential pressures, developing flue gas analyzers

under the brand name CODIMETER and remote thermometers

1960s  With the advent of electronics, Arthur Grillo KG's range of products expands considerably; this is how the first measuring

transducers with integrated operational amplifiers are manufactured

1974    Egon Grillo retires from the management of the company and hands over the management to a team of two managing directors

1978    Conversion of the legal form into a GmbH

1980    PERITACT80 with diaphragm mechanism replaces the line of ring balance gauges; for the first time, transmitters for the smallest

differential pressures of up to 10 Pa and a low-pressure sensor are being developed

1985    Analysis devices and heat quantity calculators are equipped with modern microcontrollers

1992    Relocation of the company headquarters from Düsseldorf-Oberkassel to Ratingen

1995    Arthur Grillo GmbH enters into a cooperation with the Swedish company AB REGIN; as a result, the range of products in the

field of controllers for air conditioning is significantly expanded

2000    The transmitter PERITACT2000 and the indicator DA2000 as a further development of the differential pressure gauges are

             brought onto the market

2009    With the devices DS85-P and DS200, further modern low-pressure devices with their own housing technology are developed.

Furthermore, the humidity transmitters have been expanded to include the PFT28 type and now offer an alphanumeric LCD display

2012    With the new differential pressure controller DPC200, fans can now be controlled efficiently via the differential pressure or the

             volume flow.

Arthur Grillo is thus following the growing demand for controllable ventilation systems in relation to the new 2015 ErP directive.

2014    After more than 10 years, the DA2000 is proving itself more and more on the market. Various versions with analog output,

switching contact and weatherproof protective housing are continuously expanding the areas of application

2016    The further development of flow measurement leads to the Venturi flow meter EVR2000. In addition to measuring liquids and gases,

we enable the monitoring of "objects/particles" carried by air pressure, such as fibers, polymers, pulp and the like.

2017    With the climate transmitter PFT30, we further developed the established PFT28. The added control function of the PFT30 converts

a wide variety of climate measurement variables into independent analogue signals. This makes them usable for device control.

2019    The differential pressure / volume flow controller DPC200 receives a new product variant. In addition to the analog output,

a 250 Vac / 10 A relay is available as an alarm output for limit value or filter monitoring.

2020    The first sensors are equipped with the MODBUS output signal.

2022    Thanks to the new online portal, customers can now place orders and access their order processes at any time.
